Xiaomi recently listed a new curved gaming monitor in Australia, which hasn’t received much attention yet. This display, named G34WQi 2026, is the first time this model has been introduced to an international market outside of China.
Interestingly, the same model is already available in China under the Redmi brand as the Redmi G34WQ 2026, where it was listed at the end of 2025. Currently, this monitor is only available in China and Australia.

Ultra-Wide Screen Transforms the Way You Work
The most striking feature of this monitor is its 34-inch ultra-wide panel, which boasts a 3440×1440 pixel WQHD resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Xiaomi has incorporated a 1500R curve, ensuring that the edges of the screen remain at an equal distance from the viewer’s eyes. According to the company, this format provides approximately 30 percent more screen area compared to a standard 16:9 monitor, which is incredibly useful for multitasking and wide-view gaming.
Smooth Gaming with High Refresh Rate
Designed with gamers in mind, it features a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GTG response time. This ensures smooth image rendering even in fast-paced scenes. FreeSync Premium support provides better synchronization between the GPU and the display, reducing issues like screen tearing and frame drops.
Color, Brightness, and HDR Support
This monitor comes with HDR400 certification and supports a peak brightness of up to 400 nits. A 3500:1 contrast ratio clearly distinguishes between dark and bright areas. In terms of color performance, it offers 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB coverage. With a 10-bit color depth, this display can show 1.07 billion colors, and according to Xiaomi, its color accuracy is less than Delta E 2.
Design and Connectivity
For eye protection, it features TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and DC dimming. The stand supports height adjustment, tilt, and swivel, and a 100x100mm VESA mount is also included. The monitor weighs 6.5kg with the stand and features an ultra-narrow bezel design. Connectivity includes two DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0, an audio port, and a DC-IN port. The power rating is 65W, and the viewing angles are stated as 178 degrees.
Price and Future Availability
In Australia, it is priced at AUD 599, although it is currently available for AUD 449, which is approximately $313. Xiaomi may introduce it to other markets in the future, but the company has not yet made any official announcement.
