Xiaomi has released its new HyperOS Optimisation Report amidst the global rollout of HyperOS 3. In this report, the company has disclosed the bugs and technical issues that users have been consistently reporting following recent global HyperOS updates. Xiaomi has also detailed which issues have been fixed and which are still under investigation.

New Bugs Discovered in HyperOS

  • NFC was not working on Poco M6, Redmi 13, and Redmi 13x (Indonesia OS 3.0.1.0.WNTIDXM), specifically, Mifare cards were not being detected; a fixed update has been released after resolving the driver compatibility issue.
  • Users reported no sound from the speakers on the Redmi Pad 2 (Global OS 3.0.1.0.WOVMIXM); the issue did not reappear in lab tests, and logs have been requested from users.
  • System update failures were reported on Redmi 14C and Poco C75 (OS1.0.9.0, OS1.0.11.0, and OS1.0.13.0); hardware incompatibility was identified in some devices, and the investigation is ongoing.

Previously Existing Bugs That Have Been Resolved

  • Video freezes when searching for Dolby content on Netflix on the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro.
  • Camera freezing or becoming unresponsive on the Poco X5 Pro 5G.
  • Bluetooth is not turning on/off on the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Poco M6 Pro.
  • Mi Browser is not redirecting to Google Maps on the Xiaomi 14T.

According to the company, all these fixes will be delivered to users soon through upcoming HyperOS updates.
