The latest leaks suggest that this 2026 flagship lineup could bring significant hardware changes compared to its predecessors.

According to the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 18 series may feature a new zoom camera system. The company is reportedly using an advanced periscope telephoto camera in the upcoming models, which will not only improve long-distance shots but also bring significant improvements to macro photography.
For comparison, the current Xiaomi 17 features a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto lens, while the top-end variants have a floating telephoto system capable of taking close-up macro shots from a distance of approximately 20cm. The leaks also claim that all models in the Xiaomi 18 series may feature wireless charging. In addition, the phone is said to have a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, work is underway on a better waterproof body for the Xiaomi 18 series, which could make these devices more durable than before.
