Xiaomi is soon going to add a new model to its popular 17 series. According to the latest leaked reports from China, the company is working on a smartphone called the Xiaomi 17 Max. This device is expected to be the most powerful model in the series, featuring significant upgrades to both the battery and camera.
The Xiaomi 17 Max will come with a massive 8,000 mAh battery, the largest ever in any Xiaomi 17 device. The company will also include support for 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging with this battery.
In terms of the camera setup, it will feature the same main camera as the Xiaomi 17. However, an additional periscope telephoto camera will be added. This is expected to result in overall better camera quality compared to the Xiaomi 17. In terms of design, the camera island will be similar to the ‘vanilla’ Xiaomi 17.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The display will feature extremely thin and symmetrical bezels, giving the phone a more premium look.
Currently, the launch date for the Xiaomi 17 Max is unclear. However, more information and leaks are expected to surface in the coming days.
