This lineup will include two models — the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro and the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. But the real attention is on the Turbo 5 Max, and the reason is its massive 9000mAh battery.

According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will have battery life comparable to smartphones with 10,000mAh batteries. This is a bold claim, and its true validity will only be revealed after real-life usage and testing.

Xiaomi’s Big Claim on Charging and Power Management

With such a large battery, Xiaomi hasn’t compromised on charging speed either. The Redmi Turbo 5 Max will support:

  • 100W fast wired charging
  • 27W reverse charging
  • Surge P3 charging technology

Xiaomi clearly indicates that this phone will not only have long battery life but will also charge quickly.

First-Ever Entry of the Dimensity 9500s Chipset

The Redmi Turbo 5 series is special for another reason. It will be the world’s first smartphone series to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset. This chipset is considered a trimmed-down and more affordable version of the flagship Dimensity 9500.

However, Xiaomi has not yet shared the hardware details of the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which makes it clear that the company currently wants to highlight the Turbo 5 Max. —

Design, Camera, and Colour Details Confirmed

Regarding the design, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will feature:

  • CNC metal frame
  • Fibreglass rear panel

On the back, there’s a pill-shaped camera module housing two rear cameras. The camera module clearly shows “50MP” and “OIS Cam” engravings, confirming the primary camera and optical image stabilisation.

The phone will have a centre punch-hole selfie camera, flat display edges, and minimal bezels.
