New leaks have surfaced regarding Xiaomi’s mid-range smartphone strategy, clearly indicating that the Redmi Note 15 Pro series is not just preparing for an “upgrade,” but is aiming to set new benchmarks in the segment.
Note: This information is based on a major leak shared by the renowned tipster Abhishek Yadav, which reveals key specifications related to the display, camera, battery, and durability of the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+.
According to the leaks, the company might bring a massive battery, a 200MP camera, and an IP69 rating to the mid-range segment with this series.
Major Focus on Display and Performance
According to leaked reports, the Redmi Note 15 Pro could feature a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. The Pro+ variant is rumoured to have a quad-curved AMOLED panel of the same size. Both models are expected to have Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and approximately 1,800 nits of peak brightness.
In terms of performance, the Note 15 Pro is rumoured to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra, while the Pro+ is expected to have the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Both phones could run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.
Camera, Battery, and Durability are the Highlights
According to the leaks, both models may feature a 200MP Samsung HPE primary camera (with OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The Pro model is rumoured to have a 20MP front camera, while the Pro+ is expected to have a 32MP front camera.
In the battery department, the Note 15 Pro is rumoured to have a 6,580mAh battery with 45W fast charging, while the Pro+ is expected to have a 6,500mAh battery and 100W fast charging.
Notably, both may also feature 22.5W reverse wired charging. The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is rumoured to feature IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for durability, along with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and SGS 5-Star, TÜV SÜD, and TÜV Rheinland Eye Protection certifications.
