Xiaomi has updated the official registration details of the POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition in the GSMA database, making it clear that the company is preparing to launch a Marvel-inspired special edition smartphone in the global market.
This device is registered under model number 2511FPC34G by Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd and will be sold internationally under the POCO brand. Previously, Xiaomi had launched a similar POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition.
This smartphone will first be introduced in China as the REDMI Turbo 5 and later launched in the global market as the POCO X8 Pro. This strategy is already established for Xiaomi, where the REDMI Turbo and K series are kept for the Chinese market, and their international versions are launched under the POCO brand.
The Iron Man Edition will be a limited collector’s edition, expected to feature a special design, unique packaging, and a custom UI theme.
Regarding battery technology, reports claim that Xiaomi is testing a 9,000mAh single-cell silicon battery with 100W fast charging. Internal testing is also underway on a 10,000mAh battery prototype, although there has been no official confirmation regarding its commercial production. The battery capacity in the global version may be reduced to comply with EU safety regulations.
The POCO X8 Pro is considered an upgrade to the POCO X7 Pro in terms of performance. The X7 Pro featured the Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, while the POCO F7 series featured the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform.

The final processor for the POCO X8 Pro has not yet been officially announced. According to industry estimates, the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition is expected to launch between December 2025 and January 2026. We are currently awaiting official confirmation regarding its final specifications.
