Xiaomi’s next ultra flagship is once again in the news. New leaked render images suggest that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Global Version is nearing launch, and India is likely to be among the potential markets.
According to the leaks, the phone’s design will be similar to the model launched in China. The off-white shade, large circular camera module, and Leica branding give it a premium look.

The model number visible on the rear panel suggests that this is an international unit, not a concept image.
The biggest change in the global variant appears to be the battery. While the Chinese model featured a 6,800mAh battery, the international version is rumored to have a 6,000mAh battery. However, there will be no reduction in charging speed.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Global Version Expected Key Highlights
- 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset
- Android 16-based HyperOS 3
- 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging
- 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage
The camera section will also be entirely flagship-level. The phone is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera with a 1-inch sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
A 50MP front camera for selfies is also likely to be included. Additionally, the device is expected to have IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings.
In terms of price, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra was launched in China with a starting price of approximately CNY 6,999, which costs around ₹90,000 in Indian currency.
In European markets, the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is expected to be priced at approximately EUR 1,499, which costs roughly USD 1,620 or around ₹1,60,000. The price in India is likely to be slightly lower or within a similar range.
According to reports, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra could be launched globally by the end of this month or around MWC 2026.
