Xiaomi has confirmed a fresh set of HyperOS bug fixes this week, resolving multiple user-reported issues across Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO smartphones. Recent updates are based on tester feedback and real-world usage reports.
Major Issues Fixed This Week
- Xiaomi 14T users were facing a white screen flash while zooming the camera. Xiaomi traced the issue to an incorrect Auto Exposure configuration shared from another device’s codebase. After correcting it and completing stress tests, the problem has been fully resolved.
- On the POCO X6 Pro 5G, users reported music playback stopping when opening other apps, including Spotify. Xiaomi identified a power management error that was causing background audio to freeze in HyperIsland. A Cloud Control fix was pushed on January 30, resolving the issue without requiring a manual system update.
Other Confirmed Fixes
Several additional bugs have also been addressed:
- Camera connection failures on Redmi Note 12
- Fingerprint registration and unlock issues on Redmi Note 13
- Camera lag during Zoom on Xiaomi 15
- Complete system freezes on Xiaomi 14
- Poor erase tool results in Gallery Editor on Redmi Note 15 5G
- Launcher crashes on Redmi 14C
- Czech translation error on Xiaomi 13T
Most fixes apply automatically, especially Cloud Control updates. If problems persist, Xiaomi advises submitting feedback via the built-in Feedback app or posting in the ROM forum. Xiaomi has also confirmed that more HyperOS improvements are expected in upcoming updates.
