Xiaomi’s next premium tablet has once again surfaced in leaks. The global variant of the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro was recently spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification list, and it has now appeared on Geekbench. This clearly indicates that the international launch of the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is not far off.
According to the Geekbench listing, the global model of the tablet was tested with 8GB of RAM, which is expected to be paired with 256GB of internal storage. In terms of performance, the device scored 2940 in single-core and 8759 in multi-core tests. These scores are almost identical to those of the version launched in China, meaning there has been no hardware downgrade in the global version.

This leak also confirms that the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor powers the tablet. This is a 3nm-based octa-core chipset with a clock speed of up to 4.32GHz and a powerful Adreno GPU. Xiaomi claims that this chip can score over 3 million on AnTuTu, making the tablet fully capable of multitasking, 4K video editing, and high-end gaming.
Based on the features of the Chinese version, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro features an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD with a resolution of 3200×2136 and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The display supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colour, 345 PPI, and 800 nits of peak brightness. It also includes HDR10, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, TÜV eye protection, and DC dimming. The matte edition features AG nano-texture and AR coating, which reduces stray light by 99 percent and reflectivity by up to 70 percent.
Currently, Xiaomi has not confirmed the global launch date for the Pad 8 Pro. However, recent leaks from European retailers regarding the Xiaomi 17 series suggest that the company may soon launch its premium devices in the international market. Therefore, the global launch of the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro now seems to be only a matter of time.
