Why Some Devices Didn’t Receive the Update
Many features of HyperOS 3.1 depend on Android 16 and advanced NPU support. Live Updates, system-level optimisations, and new AI-based processing do not work correctly on older chipsets, which is why Xiaomi has limited this update to newer models.
HyperOS 3.1 is not a minor update; it significantly refines Xiaomi’s software experience. If your phone is on the list of HyperOS 3.1 supported devices, you can expect a smoother, smarter, and more personalized UI by early 2026.
Our advice is to simply keep checking your phone’s update section regularly.
