Xiaomi has kicked off the rollout of HyperOS 3.1 Beta, and it’s starting out in China. What makes this release interesting is that the new version is built entirely on Android 16, so not every device will get it right away. For now, only Xiaomi and Redmi models that qualify for Android 16 support are included in this beta wave.
The company has clarified that this is an Engineering Beta Build, and it is not recommended for daily use.
