The company has officially teased several key features coming with HyperOS 3.0, including cross-platform call and message sharing, AI-powered payment tools, and advanced AI photo-editing capabilities.
Xiaomi Phones to Connect With iPhones and PCs
The biggest highlight of HyperOS 3.0 is its improved interconnection feature. After the update, Xiaomi users will be able to seamlessly share calls, messages, and notifications from their phones to iPhones, Macs, and Windows PCs.
This feature will be particularly useful for users who rely on multiple platforms and want to manage communication across all their devices from a single ecosystem.
AI Expense Tracking in Xiaomi Wallet
Significant improvements are also coming to payment-related features. Xiaomi Wallet will gain support for AI-powered Expense Tracking, enabling users to automatically track their spending.
The system records bills and transactions and will also offer widget support, allowing quick access to expense details directly from the home screen.
Major Upgrades in AI Photo Editing
HyperOS 3.0 also enhances the camera and photo-editing experience. Animated photos will now retain their dynamic format even after editing, giving users more flexibility. Users can choose to overwrite the original image or save the edited version as a new copy.
In addition, editing tools such as cropping, adjustments, filters, and watermarks will support copy-and-paste functionality. The AI-based Smart Film Generation feature will also be capable of automatically adding music and subtitles to photos.
Super AI and Magic Removal Become Smarter
The Magic Removal feature now includes glare removal, allowing users to eliminate lens flare from faces. Meanwhile, Super AI has been further optimised to deliver a smoother and more effective full-screen photo-editing experience.
HyperOS 3.0 clearly shows that Xiaomi is no longer focusing solely on hardware but is also investing heavily in AI-driven and cross-platform software experiences.
