Xiaomi has started rolling out a new update for its latest operating system, HyperOS 3. This is a separate build of HyperOS 3, based on Android 15, and is currently being released in China.
The update initially started with the Redmi K60 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro series. It is now being expanded to other Xiaomi smartphones and tablets, including the Xiaomi 12 and 12S series.
These Xiaomi Devices Received the Android 15-Based HyperOS 3 Update
The Android 15-based HyperOS 3 update is available for the following Xiaomi devices:
- Xiaomi 12 – OS3.0.2.0.VLCCNXM
- Xiaomi 12 Pro – OS3.0.2.0.VLBCNXM
- Xiaomi 12S – OS3.0.2.0.VLTCNXM
- Xiaomi 12S Pro – OS3.0.2.0.VLECNXM
- Xiaomi 12S Ultra – OS3.0.2.0.VLACNXM
- Xiaomi Civi 3 – OS3.0.1.0.VMICNXM
- Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 – OS3.0.1.0.VLRCNXM
Currently Available for Beta (Mi Pilot) Users
This HyperOS 3 update is currently being released under the Mi Pilot program, meaning it is a beta update.
Users need to register for Xiaomi’s beta testing program to receive this update.
Xiaomi will test this build first and, if it is found stable without any major issues, will release it as a stable update for non-beta users.
Status of Global Rollout
Xiaomi has not yet shared any official information regarding the global rollout of the Android 15-based HyperOS 3 update. However, this list includes global models such as the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi Civi 3, suggesting that this update may be released in other regions as well.
Typically, Xiaomi releases updates in China first and then expands them to other markets.
What to expect next
This Android 15-based build of HyperOS 3 is currently in the testing phase. More devices may be added to this update list in the future. Once the update is stable, a wider rollout will begin.
